Koppermaandagprent

Kopper (the first Monday after Epiphany), the day on which in the past printers celebrated the new year: special prints (koppermaandagprenten) were printed and offered for sale. Initially, the money was mainly spent on wild parties (the day was also called Lost Monday for a reason), later on more useful goals were often sought, such as financially supporting sick colleagues.
